    Structural Frame Analysis

The photo I have chose for my favorite photo is this black and white one took took while I was up at Coffs harbor. It has basic elements of design with lines in the middle of the screen directing you up to the black toned sky. I didn’t crop because I thought the size was fine.

The principles of design all have great harmony with the white boats and black sky normal contrast. The balance is perfect together with the directional movement makes you look at the black sky straight away and the white boats.

In my photo there are boats and water, the boats are symbolic to being able to go where ever you want the the water being the transport. It is a calming photo which reminds me of being able to have fun.

I didn’t use any materials in this photo just my camera. Lighting is this photo is just natural light like Max Pupain’s famous photos he has taken. Editing was a easy process which sometimes took a long time. Uploading is very easy just having to log into your blogger account and make sure your photo is a jpeg.

I think my photo looks like Max Pupains a little bit but I don’t recognize form any styles or genre. A person who works with this style is Max Dupain.

Olive Cotton was a pioneering Australian modernist female photographer of the 1930s and 40s working in [Sydney.Cotton became a national "name" with a retrospective and touring exhibition 50 years later in 1985. The natural world provided a lifelong inspiration for Cotton. Carefully and patiently, she photographed Australia 's landscapes, trees, flowers and clouds. Her dual interests in art and science are revealed in the homage that her images pay to the beauty and structure of nature.

    Shapes & Shadows

In this photo Max Dupain took this photo to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Morning rush hour Sydney Harbour Bridge. I can see cars traveling and a long road and the harbour bridge. This photo is black and white but it makes the photo a lot better because it looks more simple and flowing better than having colours. The cars are all almost the same shape and shadow which brings it into the style.

    5 things i have learned

    1. i have learnt to control shutter aperture and depth of field together
    2. how to alter the lighting
    3. how to change the iso
    4. how to manually use the camera
    5. to understand the photos

    2. Discuss one area you are still struggling with. (5 lines)    Explain what you can do to overcome this.

I am still struggling on how to perfectly control the camera on manual photo. The shutter speed plays a big part in producing a well- lighted. To overcome this problem, I need to take into account of the sunlight and surroundings to avoid too much shadow.

    3. Include one photo you have taken and discuss the image:

This is a photo that i took when i was at Coffs harbour walking along the beach. it came out well
